UFRMP organised a three day exposure visit for farmers and officials from JICA Himachal Pradesh. The visiting team comprised of project stakeholders from Mandi District, Suket Division, Sundar Nagar. The visiting team was led by Mr. Ved Prakash Pathania (Retd. DFO) and Mr. Gopal Chand (R.O.). They were accompanied by 1 Field Coordinator and 14 members of different SHGs.

Day 1: February 22, 2024
On this day, the team from UFRMP (JICA) SRC Ltd., represented by Mr. Ajay Singh Pundir, Manager, visited the “My Re-FillStore” on Rajpur Road, Dehradun. Insights were shared about local produce on sale. The team then visited the Laal Tappar Honey Processing Unit, where Mr. Raghubeer Singh Negi, Beekeeping expert provided details about honey processing, collection, and quality checks.
Day 2: February 23, 2024
Mr. J.S. Chauhan and Mr. Ajay Singh Pundir, accompanied the Himachal Pradesh (JICA) Team to Agrakhal, Narendranagar Division District Tehri for a field visit. The day commenced with interactions with Hewal Kunj Swayatt Sehkarita BOD members, followed by visits to Sangharsh SHG, Van Panchayat Kakhil, Van Panchayat Chald Kunjapuri SHG. Virendra Singh Negi, FLC, shared informative details about beekeeping. The team then proceeded to the CLF office and growth center, where they learned about bookkeeping, the structure of CLF, and the value chains of dairy, spice and the processing units.
Day 3: February 24, 2024
The Himachal Pradesh (JICA) Team visited UFRPM (JICA) SRC Ltd. Office at 49, IT Park, Dehradun. Mr. Ajay Singh Pundir shed light on the crucial role of State Federation, detailing packaging, labeling of products, the multi-oil processing unit, and online marketing strategies.
